Job Description
Overview We are seeking talented and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor / LCSW to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. The counselor will be responsible for supervision, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapy sessions in both individual and group settings. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client goals and therapeutic techniques. Provide psychotherapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and motivational interviewing. Facilitate group therapy sessions and provide support in areas such as psychoeducation, behavioral counseling, and addiction counseling. Offer youth and family counseling services, with experience in working with youth and adult population. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engage in crisis management and behavior management strategies to support clients effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Utilize telehealth platforms for remote counseling sessions as needed. Qualifications Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field; current licensure as a Professional Counselor is required. Experience in mental health counseling with a focus on individual/group therapy settings. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as psychoeducation, family therapy, and behavioral therapy. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation practices. Solid skills in patient assessment, and direct support for individuals with diverse needs. Ability to work effectively within inpatient or outpatient clinic environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
