Position Overview EVERCREST CONSTRUCTION GROUP LLC is seeking a Licensed General Contractor to lead and oversee a pipeline of residential renovation projects. This is a high-efficiency construction model designed for speed, scalability, and cost control: Our in-house team performs approximately 80% of the labor (demolition, cleanup, material handling, and general construction tasks) The General Contractor serves as the lead authority, providing direction, oversight, and critical skilled execution A pipeline of 10 homes is ready to begin immediately, with a target completion timeline of approximately 45 days per property Role Summary This is primarily a leadership, planning, and oversight role, not a full-time labor position. You are being hired as the professional authority on-site, responsible for ensuring that all work is performed: Safely Correctly In compliance with applicable codes and standards In a condition that is ready to pass inspection Minimal labor is required, but you must be willing to step in for critical structural or skilled tasks when necessary. Scope of Work Primary Responsibilities: Leadership and Oversight Take full control of jobsite operations Define build sequence and execution strategy Direct and manage the in-house crew through all phases Identify structural components (load-bearing walls, supports, etc.) Coordinate and approve progression between phases Ensure all work meets code and professional construction standards Maintain jobsite safety at all times Demolition Oversight (Critical Phase) All demolition work will be performed by the in-house crew under the direct supervision and approval of the General Contractor. The GC is responsible for: Identifying load-bearing vs. non-load-bearing structures Defining approved demolition scope Establishing safe demolition procedures Determining the need for temporary supports (shoring/bracing) Approving demolition progress before continuation No structural demolition will occur without GC direction and approval. Inspection and Code Compliance Responsibility (Core Role) The General Contractor is responsible for ensuring that each phase of the project is properly structured and prepared to pass required inspections. This includes Reviewing plans and verifying work aligns with local building codes Directing the crew to execute work in a manner that meets inspection standards Preparing each phase for inspection, including: Structural framing Roofing and structural components Electrical and plumbing rough-in coordination Identifying and correcting deficiencies before inspections occur Being available for inspector walkthroughs when required Primary objective: Deliver each phase of construction in a condition that is ready to pass inspection without rework or delays. Secondary Responsibilities (Approximately 20%) Perform or oversee critical structural work when required Step in where improper execution could impact safety or integrity Provide hands-on correction or guidance for complex tasks Project Scope Includes Full residential renovations Structural framing and corrections Roofing systems Foundation-related work (as needed) Electrical and plumbing layout coordination Complete build-out to a safe, finished product Authority and Responsibility This role carries full leadership authority on-site.
