Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities aimed at pain management and relaxation. Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing therapies or lifestyle adjustments for optimal results. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology and privacy standards. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to occupational health protocols and sanitation procedures. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, addressing client questions, and fostering long-term relationships. Stay current with industry best practices, physiology knowledge, and new massage techniques to continually enhance service quality. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in patient service with a focus on therapeutic massage and pain relief. Hands-on experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities preferred. Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Prior work in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills coupled with a genuine passion for helping others improve their health through therapeutic touch. This is a very busy clinic with a heavy load of cross-referrals and a wait list of massage clients. We are looking for someone to work 1-2 days at a minimum, with a maximum of 5-6 days if you would like. Compensation will be discussed at the interview.
