Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including treatment plans and progress notes Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that adheres to all health and safety regulations Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices in massage therapy and pain management Qualifications Valid NY state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally Proven experience in patient service with strong customer service skills Expertise in various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage Ability to perform patient assessment effectively to customize treatments accordingly Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa procedures is a plus Prior experience in pain management or medical settings is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly impact clients’ health and happiness.
