Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health emergencies effectively while ensuring client safety. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate medical terminology, behavioral health principles, and case management techniques. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and records management. Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling sessions, expanding access to mental health services across different settings. Engage in clinical research initiatives to stay current with best practices and contribute to the advancement of mental health care. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist LMSW, LGPC or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credential. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities in outpatient or inpatient settings. Strong knowledge of behavioral management techniques, crisis management protocols, and social work principles. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health. Experience delivering evidence-based therapies such as motivational interviewing, PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Proficiency in telehealth technology platforms and experience providing remote patient care is preferred. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to handle crisis situations effectively.
