Job Responsibilities Craft Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' needs and generate personalized therapy plans to help them reach their functional aspirations Conduct Therapeutic Activities: Implement evidence-based practices to improve the motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living abilities of patients Collaborate with Various Disciplines: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and caregivers in therapy techniques to encourage continued progress at home Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track Educational Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Continuing education and advanced certifications encouraged and supported Professional Certifications Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required NBCOT
