Job Responsibilities Design Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess each patient's individual needs and create personalized treatment strategies to guide them toward achieving their functional ambitions. Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply established clinical practices to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills. Collaborate Within Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical doctors, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care. Educate Patients and Families: Teach therapy techniques to patients and their caregivers to ensure the continuation of progress at home. Track Progress and Adjust Treatments: Monitor clinical developments and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their path to success. Education Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university Encouraged opportunities for continuing education or further certifications Professional Certifications Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
