Contact Greg Allis at gallis@costco.com About The Optician Position A passion for eyecare and outstanding service is essential to providing the best member experience! As An Optician, Your Regular Duties Will Include Review customers' prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses from internal and external independent Doctors of Optometry Take eyewear measurements and adjust eyewear to ensure a good fit Educate customers about eyewear and help customers choose eyeglass frames and lenses Repair or replace broken eyeglass frames Frame selection, adjustments, ordering, dispensing Perform business and administrative tasks, such as Patient check-in and check-outs and answering and placing phone calls Use computer to process orders, dispenses eyeglasses and contacts and oversees apprentices Provides prompt and courteous member service.
