We are now hiring a full-time LPN for our plasmapheresis clinic in Greenfield, WI. This is a unique nursing role conducting initial triage and health assessments of potential blood donors for suitability to donate their plasma. There is no patient-care or bedside nursing. Responsibilities: Ensure the donors meet suitability criteria (check vitals, brief medical history, check to see if there’s recent drug use or recent tattoos, then a finger stick). Review donor lab results. Documentation, answer questions related to the donor process, maintain knowledge of donation programs, along with any other duties that are assigned. Requirements: Must have a valid Nursing License. Must have current CPR or BLS certification. This is a full-time opening working day shifts five days per week. However, we will need a nurse who has flexibility each week as the scheduled days may not always be the same as the week before. The clinic is open 7 days per week, so nurses who can work occasional weekends are required. Let me know if you would like to learn more and potentially schedule an in-person interview.
