Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: DOE Licensed Practitioner Supervisor (Full-Time) Location: Hybrid / Multi-State (Texas required; Louisiana preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Practitioner Supervisor to oversee clinical operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services. This role is responsible for supervising clinical staff, maintaining compliance with state and Medicaid guidelines, and supporting overall program effectiveness across service lines. The ideal candidate is licensed in Texas, currently credentialed with TMHP, with Louisiana licensure strongly preferred, and has experience working within Medicaid-based behavioral health systems. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision to licensed and unlicensed staff (QMHPs, MHPs, QBHS, etc.) Review and approve assessments, reassessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation Ensure compliance with Texas Medicaid (TMHP) and Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) requirements Monitor clinical quality, documentation standards, and service delivery Provide guidance on crisis interventions, treatment planning, and client care Conduct regular case consultations and supervision meetings Support staff with ethical decision-making and clinical best practices Assist with audits, chart reviews, and corrective action plans Collaborate with leadership to improve clinical outcomes and program development Train and mentor staff to ensure adherence to agency policies and Medicaid standards Minimum Qualifications Active, unrestricted license in Texas (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) Must be currently credentialed and approved with TMHP (Texas Medicaid) Must be in good standing with all licensing boards Experience supervising behavioral health staff Strong knowledge of: Medicaid documentation and billing Community-based behavioral health services (CPST, PSR, case management) Ability to work independently and lead a remote team Preferred Qualifications Louisiana licensure (PLPC/LPC, LCSW, LMFT) Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred Experience with LDH regulations and Louisiana Medicaid MCOs Experience in multi-state behavioral health operations Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., IntakeQ, CheckPoint, etc.) Core Competencies Strong leadership and supervision skills Attention to detail and compliance-focused mindset Effective communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Work Schedule Full-Time (40 hours/week) Flexible scheduling based on operational needs Compensation Competitive salary based on experience Opportunities for growth and leadership development
