Job Description
The Neurodivergent Collective is seeking a Licensed Psychotherapist who specializes in working with neurodiverse adults to conduct individual therapy, group therapy, and/or family therapy sessions from a neurodiversity-affirming lens. Monday - Friday; approximately 5-10 hours per week Treatment Team Staff Meetings Tuesdays 1:00-2:30 (attendance preferred) Therapists will work on a collaborative team that includes psychiatry, clinical care coordination, program management, dieticians, coaches, individual and family therapists, and additional adjunct providers. Responsibilities include Conduct individual therapy sessions, 2x per week, per client Complete associated documentation, attendance at weekly team meetings, and identification of relevant adjunctive/support services Possess excellent communication and writing skills, including the ability to write clear and concise clinical case notes and treatment plans Demonstrate cultural sensitivity & competence in addressing the needs of diverse patients including LGBTQ and Neurodivergent Affirming point of view As a group facilitator, experienced in group topics ranging from Self-Compassion, Shame/Guilt/Anger, Developmental Trauma, Cognitive Processing Therapy, DBT, and Building Resiliency Reports to: Clinical Director and Program Director Education/Experience Required Doctoral or Masters degree in psychology, social work, or other mental health-related field Licensed in the state of California for at least 2 years Minimum of three years experience post-graduate degree (Preferred) Specialized training in trauma and trauma related modalities (EMDR preferred) Complies with policies and procedures, operational and clinical guidelines, HIPAA standards, and California Department of Social Services State standards Additional Requirements Previous experience conducting individual, group, and/or family therapy Previous experience working with neurodivergent individuals Desire to work on a collaborative team in a multidisciplinary setting Well-versed in empirically supported treatment, certified in multiple therapy modalities preferred Familiarity with KIPU EHR, preferred Current CPR/First Aid Certification Current Employee Health Screening and PPD Skin Test Must be able to pass a LiveScan background check PERKS Professional growth and development working with a multidisciplinary team of uniquely talented clinicians Competitive pay A collaborative and enthusiastic team of professionals who value one another as much as the work we do together Flexible schedule Please visit www.theneurodivergentcollective.com for more information about the program and staff.
