Position Overview Cherokee Center for Change & Equine Campus is seeking two or more licensed therapists to join our growing, multidisciplinary behavioral health team: Adult and/or Adolescent Therapist Child & Adolescent Therapist Both positions are available as full-time or part-time 1099 contractor roles with flexible scheduling and strong referral support. About Our Practice Cherokee Center for Change & Equine Campus is the longest-standing counseling center in Cherokee County, offering a unique blend of traditional outpatient therapy and innovative programming in a serene, farm-based setting . Our multidisciplinary team includes 24 licensed therapists A psychiatric MD and psychiatric nurse practitioner for medication management Equine-assisted therapy and wellness offerings Launching a new Experiential & Nature-Based IOP We serve a diverse population including: Insurance-based and cash-pay clients Court-referred individuals and crime victims Children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families We are also in the process of launching an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) , creating additional opportunities for group work, internal referrals, and program development. Position Highlights Flexible schedule (full-time or part-time) 1099 independent contractor model Ability to ramp up caseload gradually OR start with a partial panel immediately Strong and consistent referral stream (high call volume) Opportunities to participate in IOP programming and group services Unique setting with access to equine-assisted therapy programming Collaborative team environment with medical and psychiatric support Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation Participate in treatment planning and care coordination Option to, but desire to, facilitate or co-facilitate IOP groups Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with prescribers and other clinicians Maintain ethical, legal, and professional standards of care Qualifications Fully licensed in Georgia (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT ) Eligible and willing to credential with insurance panels Experience working with: Adults and/or adolescents (for one role) Children and adolescents (for second role) Newly licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply Interest in group work, program development, or IOP participation is preferred Ability to work independently as a contractor while collaborating within a team Ideal Candidate Motivated to build and grow a caseload over time Comfortable working in a hybrid referral model (insurance + cash pay + community referrals) Interested in non-traditional therapeutic environments , including outdoor and equine-based settings, although this is not required Values autonomy with the support of an established practice Compensation Competitive, productivity-based 1099 compensation structure Consistent referral base to support income growth Opportunities for additional income through groups and IOP programming Why Join Us?
