Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and clinical counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will support individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will play a key role in conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering therapy through in-person or telehealth modalities. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to accurately identify client needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs. Provide individual, group, family, and crisis intervention sessions focused on mental health counseling. Manage clinical documentation with precision, maintaining HIPAA-compliant medical records and ensuring accurate medical terminology usage for billing and case management purposes. Collaborate with other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Experience Proven experience as a licensed therapist or clinical counselor with a strong background in psychotherapy. Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health conditions and proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR) systems compliant with HIPAA regulations. Experience conducting diagnostic assessments using ICD-9/ICD-10 codes for accurate diagnosis coding and billing processes. Telehealth experience is highly desirable to provide flexible patient access while maintaining high-quality care standards. Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies along with skills in crisis management and behavior management during high-stress situations.
