PawMed Urgent Care – Licensed Veterinary Technician Opportunity Facility Overview Locations: Charleston and Summerville Website: PawMed Urgent Care Tentative schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week Pay range: $20–$30/hour Sign On Bonus: - $1000 Team Structure Typical shift staffing includes: 1 doctor 2 nurses 1 receptionist Walk-ins are welcomed Current medical team consists of: 4 full-time doctors 2 relief doctors 1 part-time doctor Recently hired a doctor with a strong surgical interest, including fracture repairs and pyometra cases, with plans to expand surgical offerings Patient Load & Services Average of 15–20 cases per day, with higher volume on weekends Focus on urgent and acute care cases Wellness services are being incorporated as urgent care case loads have slowed Technician responsibilities include: Triage Blood draws X-rays Animal restraint Strong technical/procedural skills Culture Positive team environment Collaborative and supportive staff culture Your Impact as an Urgent Care Credentialed Veterinary Technician Note: The Credentailed Veterinary Technician title is used in various states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements.
