Job OverviewJoin our vibrant aquatic team as a Lifeguard, where your primary mission is to ensure the safety and well-being of all pool guests.In this energetic role, you will actively monitor swimming areas, enforce safety rules, and provide exceptional guest services to create a fun, secure environment for everyone.Your vigilance and quick response skills will help prevent accidents and promote a positive experience for all visitors.This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop valuable skills in pool safety, guest relations, and emergency response.Responsibilities Vigilantly observe swimming areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies Enforce pool rules and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for all guests Provide first aid and CPR assistance in case of injuries or emergencies, ensuring prompt and effective care Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and maintaining water clarity Assist guests with pool-related inquiries, directions, and ensuring they have an enjoyable experience Perform routine pool cleaning duties including vacuuming, scrubbing decks, and checking chemical levels Monitor equipment and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to ensure safety standards are upheld Qualifications Valid lifeguard certification with current CPR and first aid training from a recognized organization Proven lifeguard experience in a busy pool or aquatic environment Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing and cleaning techniques Ability to lift heavy equipment or supplies as needed for pool upkeep or emergency situations Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Ability to remain alert, focused, and proactive during long shifts in a dynamic environment Join us in creating a safe, welcoming space where guests can enjoy the water with confidence!
