JOB SUMMARY – Lifeguard Lead: The Lifeguard Lead supports the daily operation of the Lagoon bathing area, including performing basic lifeguarding duties and helping guide the lifeguard team during their shifts. This is a hands-on, outdoor role focused on maintaining water safety and delivering a great guest experience. The Lifeguard Lead plays a key part in upholding safety protocols and supporting the Water Safety team. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Helps lead the team performing tasks such as operating water attractions, monitoring guest safety, responding to emergencies, and administering First Aid as needed. Completes opening and closing duties including minor pool maintenance, pre-operation checks, and attraction testing. Maintains cleanliness and presentation of the area, including trash removal and hosing. Enforces facility safety rules and guidelines. Responds to guests in distress and provides First Aid. Assists with maintaining supplies and equipment inventory. Supports supervisors in preparing schedules, reports, and checklists. Mentors team members by modeling strong performance and customer service. Helps manage daily shift hours and supports leadership with operational needs. Regularly test rides attractions to ensure safety and functionality. Performs other duties as assigned.
