Lifeguards - PART TIME

P.L.U.S.Group Homes, Inc.Summer Seasonal Positions: LIFEGUARDS - PART TIME Monday thru Friday Saturday and Sunday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm 4 hour shifts Evening Hours This position is located at all our group homes in Nassau County, New York We are an agency with 7 group homes for adults who are developmentally disabled.Our homes have private in ground swimming pools.We have flexible, 20-30 hours per week positions for hire in Nassau County, New York.Job Description:Responsible for safety of all individuals using pools.Responsible in rescue of individuals if drowning.Perform CPR if necessary.Contact emergency services if necessary.Individual to attend recreation outings if water safety is needed.Encourage consumers to use pool and assist them to learn to swim if they ask.Maintain pool:Check PH balance, skim water, clean filters, store pool items.Contact Program Manager if pool requires service.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Experience working as a Lifeguard is a MUST! American Red Cross - Lifeguard Certification and CPR and First Aid No Nassau County Lifeguard Certification is required.High School Diploma required.New York Driver's License required.Pay:From $19.25 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Work Location:In person.
