Our job opportunity: Position: Line Cook Hotel name: Aiden by Best Western Kansas City Downtown Address: 405 E. 13th St. Kansas City, MO 64106 Key Responsibilities: Prepare ingredients and food to support the creation of diverse dishes. Manage the appliances, grill, flat top, oven and fryer to make different styles of food. Ensure dish quality and presentation accurately. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area. Maintain adequate food inventory and limiting waste. Follow all food safety regulations. What candidate traits are needed to be successful in this role? Minimum 3-5 years line cook experience. Knowledge of portion control and quality assurance. Excellent organization and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Must be familiar with food handling safety and city requirements.
