Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in fine dining or restaurant environments. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall kitchen operations to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure efficient kitchen workflow Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning Support catering events and special meal preparations as needed Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize meal preparation times and quality Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen operations Experience Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus Experience in fine dining or restaurant settings demonstrating culinary skills and attention to detail Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards Strong knife skills and experience with meal preparation and food service operations Knowledge of food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Experience in catering or serving is advantageous but not required Familiarity with menu planning, food presentation, and kitchen equipment operation This position offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic culinary environment while honing your skills in food preparation, safety, and customer service.
