About Kimball’s Kimball’s California Bistro is a new California fusion restaurant located in the historic former post office building in Downtown Hemet. We focus on high-quality food, strong teamwork, consistency, and creating a kitchen culture built on professionalism and respect. We are looking for dependable cooks who work well under pressure, take pride in their station, and want to grow with a new restaurant concept. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipe and presentation standards Maintain a clean and organized workstation Follow prep lists and kitchen systems Work efficiently during busy service periods Properly label, store, and rotate products Assist with prep and closing duties Maintain food safety and sanitation standards Communicate effectively with kitchen team members Qualifications Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexible availability including nights and weekends Food Handler Card required (or ability to obtain) What We’re Looking For We want cooks who Show up on time Stay productive during downtime Care about food quality and consistency Can handle pressure without drama Want to improve their skills and grow with the team Experience with sauté, grill, fry, prep, Mediterranean, California fusion, or high-volume kitchens is a plus.
