Line Cook

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in preparing and serving delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines Assist with menu planning and development Work closely with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requests Support catering events and functions Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service Perform tasks such as food preparation, plating, and serving Maintain a high level of quality control in food presentation and quality Adapt to a dynamic kitchen environment, handling multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously Experience: Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in fine dining or catering Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen management Familiarity with menu planning and dietary department operations Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations Ability to work in a high-pressure environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment Experience with food presentation and quality control Skills: Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen management Experience in fine dining and catering environments Familiarity with dietary department operations and special dietary requests Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations Ability to work in a high-pressure environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Experience with food presentation and quality control Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Shift availability: Night Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Dexter, MI 48130 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Dexter, MI 48130: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
