Responsibilities Prepare ingredients through washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning to support meal assembly Cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring timely service Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with food handling and storage procedures to ensure freshness and safety of all ingredients Support catering and special event meal preparation as needed Handle dishwashing duties efficiently to keep the kitchen organized and sanitary Follow all food safety protocols and proper knife skills during food prep and cooking processes Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures Experience with kitchen equipment operation and basic cooking skills including meal preparation and catering support Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting fellow staff members Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
