Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team for evening/closing shifts. Full and part time availability. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and experience in food service. Brunch experience is a plus. Must be willing to work some evenings and weekend shifts. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Follow recipes and presentation specifications Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Monitor food stock Experience Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant position Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks We are a fast-paced restaurant & tavern located in historic downtown Wellington buildings. Daily specials. Weekend brunch. Steaks, burgers, seafood, pastas, salads. Moving towards a farm to table type experience using produce and meats from our own local farm.
