Halfway House Line Cook – Full Time Join AAC as a Line Cook in our Halfway House and become an integral part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our members and their guests. We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, maintain, and break down assigned workstation in accordance with performance standards. Prepare food items and meals by accurately following recipes, instructions, and guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and cared for. Comply with all state and local health and food safety regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall kitchen operations. Qualifications & Core Competencies: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a culinary or food service role. Knowledge of basic culinary fundamentals and familiarity with all line positions. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed. Resume must include recent work history relevant to the position. Physical Demands & Work Environment: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as walking, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching. Capable of pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 50 pounds. Comfortable performing continuous repetitive motions. Must be able to work in environments that may be hot, humid, and noisy.
