Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety protocols Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish preparation and presentation Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and service Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy hours Follow all food industry safety regulations, including proper knife skills and food handling procedures Requirements Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment, especially as a dietary aide or in dietary department roles preferred Strong culinary experience with proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure Experience in menu planning, catering, and serving is a plus Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen setting Passion for delivering high-quality meals and exceptional customer service Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
