Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and high standards of quality. Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to deliver visually appealing dishes. Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations. Support kitchen team members during busy periods, ensuring timely meal delivery. Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices. Contribute to menu planning efforts by providing feedback on dish execution and ingredient quality. Experience Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus. Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are desirable. Experience with catering or large-scale food service operations is advantageous.
