Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that every plate meets our standards of excellence. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed to maintain food safety. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report shortages to the kitchen manager. Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen at all times. Skills Proficient knife skills for efficient food preparation. Strong understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in fine dining or culinary settings. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on presentation quality.
