Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times Support kitchen staff during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple orders and prioritizing tasks Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, including storage, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention Participate in menu planning discussions to suggest creative ideas that enhance our offerings Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals and exceptional service standards Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred, especially in a culinary or kitchen role Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife handling are essential for success Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus, highlighting your ability to accommodate special dietary needs Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry is required Experience in catering or meal preparation for large groups can be advantageous Strong understanding of food handling protocols combined with excellent teamwork skills will help you thrive in this role Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
