Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our BBQ family. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in a fast pace environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. Assist in menu planning and development with the culinary team. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Experience Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Familiarity with fine dining standards and techniques is a plus. Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are required. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for food preparation and creativity in menu planning is highly valued.
