Brewery taproom on Portland's east side with a German-inspired menu seeks line/prep cooks. Open Wednesday-Sunday, we have four weekly shifts available. Starting pay is $16.30/hr + tips (Tip Pool) ~ $25/30 hr. Our ideal candidate has appropriate skills, 2+ years of work experience, exhibits professionalism and can work without direct supervision. Duties include all aspects of BOH food service. Cooking, prep and dishes are all a part of daily work. Potential to pick up/add shifts (prep) available to right candidate. Nights and weekends a must, some holidays are mandatory. Must have current Oregon Food Handlers card, proof of employment eligibility (I-9). Safe knife skills, a steady temperament, the ability to closely follow recipes, guidelines and procedures, a dedication to cleanliness, sanitation, and the capability to lift 50 lbs unassisted are required.
