Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The Line Cook/Prep Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to create an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring variety and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation. Perform inventory checks and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food as required. Utilize proper knife skills for meal preparation and presentation. Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained properly. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred. Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus. Familiarity with fine dining standards and food service operations. Strong cooking skills with an emphasis on food preparation techniques. Experience in menu planning, catering, or meal preparation is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
