Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Assist with menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and seasonal specials Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed to prevent contamination Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely service Use knife skills effectively for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other prep work Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service hours Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant experience within the food industry Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures Skilled in meal preparation, food service, and kitchen operations Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving is a plus Excellent knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary techniques Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction Embark on a flavorful journey with us!
