Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations at all times Assist with menu planning and portion control to ensure consistency and efficiency Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling dishes Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, stoves, and mixers Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food with attention to detail Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction is met or exceeded Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven kitchen experience in restaurants or food service environments Strong food handling skills with knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices Skilled in culinary techniques including knife skills, meal preparation, and cooking methods Experience with menu planning, food industry operations, and catering services preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
