Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning by offering input on dish presentation and ingredient selection Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations at all times Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently and accurately Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure a positive guest experience Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly advantageous Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service with a focus on quality and safety Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards in the food industry Experience with menu planning, catering, and food service operations is preferred Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
