Line Cook – Tiny Tapp & Café Tiny Tapp & Café is looking for dependable, hardworking Line Cooks to join our kitchen team for the season on the Chicago Riverwalk. We are a high-volume, fast-paced outdoor restaurant and event venue that thrives on teamwork, consistency, and a positive attitude. As a Line Cook, you’ll help prepare and execute food quickly, cleanly, and consistently during busy service periods while working alongside a supportive kitchen team. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Work grill, fryer, cold station, or prep stations during service Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked station throughout each shift Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Assist with prep work, stocking, cleaning, and inventory rotation as needed Help maintain a positive, team-focused kitchen environment Work efficiently during high-volume lunch, dinner, and event service Qualifications Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Strong work ethic and reliability Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure Food Handler Certification required (or ability to obtain before starting) Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays during the season Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Position Details Seasonal and part-time/full-time positions available Competitive hourly pay based on experience Fast-paced Riverwalk environment with opportunities for growth How to Apply Please send your resume along with a short note about your experience and availability.
