Line Cooks and Prep Cooks

Job Summary We are now hiring skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our new neighborhood pub & grill. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals in our kitchen. You will work closely with the culinary team to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and meet customer expectations. Wages are based on experience and all hourly employees will be included in tip pooling. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation, including chopping, cutting, and marinating ingredients Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality Cook and plate dishes according to established standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning and recipe development Assist with catering events as needed Requirements: Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is preferred Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Excellent communication and teamwork skills Culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not required We offer competitive pay based on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth within the food industry.
