Overview We are looking for a new team member to become part of our dedicated small team. The Plaid Apron is a hyper local focused restaurant making everything from scratch. This position will be for someone who enjoys making pizza while learning the ins and outs of our PM dinner service. We are re-posting as the previous hire did not work out. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas, desserts, and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients to ensure efficient kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal food quality and safety Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of ingredients Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences for our guests Qualifications Prior experience in a culinary setting, such as restaurant, catering, or fine dining environments, is highly preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Great Attitude expected with respect to the food, team, and customers.
