Job Description
We are a fast-growing insurance defense firm that handles premises liability and construction defect claims and you can check us out at our website at www.saiblelaw.com Currently, we are looking for an attorney with at least two (2) years of practical experience working in civil defense - preferably in general liability. However, if you are have more experience, and/or are already a partner, we are interested in you as well! By design, we are a different type of defense firm, as our attorneys handle a smaller case load - usually around 15 cases. Very simply, this is so that our attorneys have more time and resources to actually defend a case the way it is supposed to be done. However, for this reason, you are expected to be proactive in handling your cases - ideally staying one step ahead of opposing counsels. While admittingly not for everyone, this absolutely is the ideal setup for many defense attorney's out there who thrive in this type of environment. Ultimately, this job requires an attorney who is passionate, motivated, and conscientious about their work. More than anything else, we want someone who genuinely enjoys litigation and who wants to become a better attorney because of it. And if you are a defense attorney who genuinely fits this description, then again, this is a job where you will thrive. This job also provides a great work atmosphere that will allow the right attorney to quickly advance to becoming a partner. Again, we're looking for an attorney who's going to make a career here and become a better attorney because of it. The salary will be based on the attorney's practical experience and skill level, but will range from $135,000 to $200,000, including a favorable bonus structure. Also, I bring my dog(s) to work with me most days, so please be dog friendly!
