ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - MID-LEVEL (ATTORNEY II) Full Time | Onsite/Hybrid | Century City, Los Angeles, CA Compensation: $140,000 - $185,000 annually ABOUT THE FIRM Our client is California's leading consumer rights law firm specializing in Automotive Lemon Law. The firm has built a strong reputation for obtaining record settlements against major auto manufacturers while delivering exceptional client advocacy. ABOUT THE ROLE The firm is seeking mid-level litigation associates to join their Century City office. The ideal candidate brings 1 to 5 years of litigation experience and a genuine passion for consumer advocacy. This is a hands-on, fast-moving role for an attorney who thrives on aggressive, discovery-driven litigation and can manage competing priorities across a dynamic caseload. Associates receive direct mentorship from partners and senior attorneys, with strong performers quickly advancing into high-stakes depositions, trial prep, and second-chair trial opportunities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Written Discovery Draft written discovery, review responses and document productions, and participate in e-discovery review Law & Motion Draft and argue motions related to discovery disputes, pleading challenges, oppositions to MSAs, and other consumer-side motions Attend oral arguments across a variety of California courtrooms Depositions Prepare and defend consumer client depositions Depose percipient witnesses and corporate defense representatives Prepare expert witnesses and attend expert depositions Vehicle Inspections Attend vehicle inspections alongside expert witnesses General Timely billing and reporting Assist partners and senior attorneys as needed QUALIFICATIONS J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school Active California Bar membership in good standing 1-5 years of litigation experience as a California-licensed attorney Genuine interest in consumer protection and public interest law Strong written and oral communication skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines Proficiency in MS Office, Westlaw, and Outlook Collaborative, growth-oriented mindset Bilingual Spanish a plus, not required Willingness to travel within California for court, depositions, and inspections COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive base salary ($140K-$185K) HMO/PPO Medical, PPO Dental, Vision Insurance STD/LTD and Basic Life Insurance 401(k) with contributions up to 10% 529 Plan and Pet Insurance Mentorship from senior attorneys and partners Hybrid schedule (Mon/Fri optional WFH; Tue-Thu in office) This position is presented in confidence by TGC Talent.
