Litigation Counsel

A company is looking for a Litigation Counsel to manage and direct claims litigation activities. Key Responsibilities Manage and direct claims litigation activities and case strategy for designated states Supervise, hire, and evaluate performance of outside attorneys and claims-handling personnel Research legal impacts on claims handling and provide training to employees on related issues Required Qualifications Law degree with thorough knowledge of litigation and insurance law Trial or legal claims experience with on-the-job training in insurance contracts Ability to develop relationships with diverse groups, including legal and claims personnel Experience in managing complex, high-exposure claims Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation
