Job Description
Quest Group Executive Search has a long term client - a premier defense law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to clients in a variety of industries. They are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal to support their attorneys in managing complex litigation matters. If individuals brought previous experience with NetDocs or Orion - that would be a HUGE plus. Job Summary: The Litigation Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience in defense litigation is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in all aspects of case management, from inception to trial and post-trial proceedings. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. Manage document production, including reviewing, organizing, and indexing case materials. Coordinate and assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas. Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials by organizing exhibits, summarizing testimony, and managing case files. Utilize legal research databases and litigation support software to conduct case analysis. Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel as needed. Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines by managing case calendars and filing documents timely. Assist in drafting case summaries, legal memoranda, and correspondence. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in a defense law firm. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
