Live Hanger- Plant 1 (Nights)

Job Description:Pay Rate:$25.25 per hour.(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm.Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am) Lifts live chickens off moving conveyor belt and hangs them on overhead shackles by their legs.Operates and controls the speed of the conveyor belt with knee-controlled lever.Picks up DOA (dead on arrival) and loose chickens off the floor.Clean up feathers and other debris and deposits into gondola/tanks.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Able to repeatedly lift 4-10 lbs.and to meet established company standards.Able to stand for prolonged periods of time (8-10 hrs) on concrete/metal grated floor.Able to work in dark, dirty, and dusty environment.Repetitive grasping/pushing motions, over the shoulder reaching, frequent bending required.Must submit to and pass criminal background..
