Full-Time Nanny / House Manager – Westport, CT (Monday–Friday, or Wednesday - Sunday?) A warm, kind, and busy family in Westport is seeking a full-time nanny/house manager to support their home and care for their two children, ages 3.5 and 6. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys a balanced role —supporting the household during the day and providing consistent, nurturing care to the children before and after school. The parents are truly searching for an individual who enjoys being part of a well-run and organized home, working alongside dedicated, hands-on parents, with collaborative teamwork and great communication. Mom and Dad pride themselves on their strong marriage, built through honest and open communication - not just catchphrases and nice words - and they are hoping to find the right person for this role who truly values being able to share their thoughts and feelings and receive feedback in a positive way. Schedule Monday–Friday - though parent strong prefer a candidate who can work Wednesday to Sunday or Tuesday to Saturday, as the weekends are must busier that the weekdays. If the right candidate is available Monday-Friday only, as second weekend person will be hired. Occasional early mornings (approximately once per week, around 6:30 AM ) when parents commute to NYC. You are welcome to remain sleeping/in bed until the children wake up for school, but will be officially "on duty" and on the clock on those early days once per week on average. Responsibilities Childcare: Providing warm, kind, and consistent care Helping children get ready for school School drop-off and pick-up Transporting to activities and appointments Engaging children in age-appropriate play Supporting routines and structure Household Support (while children are at school): Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the home Laundry, dishes, and general upkeep Running errands and supporting the household Additional Notes Deep cleaning handled by a service 2x/week Parents are very involved and take over in the evenings (dinner around 6:30 PM) Calm, respectful, low-pressure home environment Special Consideration One of the children has a heart condition; candidate must be open to learning to administer daily medication (no medical background required) Requirements 3+ years of full-time childcare experience 1+ year of housekeeping/house management experience Valid driver’s license and confident driving Excellent references Compensation & Benefits $30-$40/hr, based on skills and prior experience, and on the schedule and scope of the final position agreement Competitive pay based on experience Paid vacation, holidays, and PTO Start Date ASAP Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits Paid time off Experience: Childcare : 3 years (Required) Housekeeping/ House Management: 1 year (Preferred) Live In Nanny or Nanny/House Manager: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
