Job Description & Requirements LMSW Social Worker - Outpatient StartDate: 5/25/2026 Pay Rate: $1600.00 - $2400.00 POSITION SUMMARY – LMSW Social Worker - Outpatient POSITION DUTIES – Crisis Therapist in the Adult Behavioral Health Program Minimum Required Qualifications – LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC or LLP - licensed in Michigan. Master’s degree in Social Work. Ability to engage adults diagnosed with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders, their families and supporters. Expertise in helping clients identify their service needs and preferences, helping them build on their individual strengths, resources and supports, and navigate the network of services at the facility and in the community. Ability to provide trauma-informed care and appropriately handle crisis situations. Ability to use technology competently, demonstrate effective organizational, verbal and written communication skills, and work independently. Nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of adults with mental illness and/or substance use disorders, their families and providers. LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – Ongoing SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm. Flexible scheduling is available. Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required based on program needs.
