And must already be set up with AMAZON RELAY Join our dynamic team as a Local Driver for Amazon Blocks, specializing in Orlando round trips! As a key player in our logistics network, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting packages between Amazon distribution centers and delivery points within the local area. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to complete Orlando round trips. Load and unload packages using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety. Execute route driving with precision, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to meet delivery deadlines. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring packages are delivered accurately and professionally. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards. Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining cleanliness. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred. Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is highly desirable. Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission. Ability to lift heavy packages regularly; experience with heavy lifting, moving, or warehouse work is a plus. Familiarity with forklift operation and pallet jacks is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
