Apidel Technologies is seeking a local contract nurse RN Home Health for a local contract nursing job in Detroit, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Home Health Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 17 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Position: RN - Home Health Speciality: Home Health Duration: 17-week contract with strong potential to convert based on performance Location: Detroit, MI Shift Timing : 8:00 PM to 4:30 PM and one Saturday every Month Note: Candidates will be responsible for covering all relocation expenses independently, including travel (airfare), accommodation costs and any other costs. Required Skills Current MI RN licensure, BLS certification through AHA. Candidates will be supporting the Home Health department with the patient load in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. They should anticipate a case load of approximately 6 patient visits per day with an average of 40-60 miles driven per day. (Reimbursement for Travelling will be provided) Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience, current valid driver's license and reliable transportation Job Summary Under general supervision of the nursing supervisor, utilizes the knowledge and application of nursing principles to provide direct patient care in the home. Assesses need for other allied health care services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, speech pathology and social work, to ensure an integrated home health care delivery system. Performs other related duties as required. Skills & Experience: Minimum of nine months of clinical nursing experience. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families and hospital personnel. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required in order to interact effectively with individuals from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Must be able to lift, carry, transport and move clients, if needed. Preferred Skills & Experience: Acute care experience, preferred. Education Required Education Successful completion of a registered nursing program accredited by the National League of Nursing. Required Certification & Licensure: Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a registered nurse. BLS Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
