Local Truck Driver

Job Type Full time (40 hours) Monday-Friday 1st shift No over the road, home daily ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Transports company materials and property by operating/driving company owned trucks and For the purpose of new product delivery, procurement of materials and pick-up of waste related non-hazardous materials from company customers and suppliers. Salary, Benefits, Training will all be discussed during interview. RESPONSIBILITIES: Transports products and materials to and from manufacturing plant, customers and suppliers. Transports non-hazardous waste and recyclable materials to and from plant, customers and suppliers. Complies with local, state and federal carrier laws and regulations associated with operation and transportation of such equipment and materials, such as proper equipment licensing and permits, and appropriate equipment and container labeling. Obtains, maintains all required paperwork associated with deliveries and pick-ups including invoices, shippers, manifests and mileage logs. Insure accuracy of paperwork verses actual materials transported. Performs daily maintenance of company assigned vehicles and equipment including routine checks of fluids and various mechanical components. Cleans and maintains interior and exterior of company assigned vehicles and equipment to a high level so that such equipment continually appears new and professional. Manages any material spills while performing company duties, both on and off company property. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors and managers Abides by the company policies, procedures and safety standards.
