The Locksmithing Assistant will support locksmiths by preparing tools, maintaining equipment, and assisting in installing, repairing, and replacing locks and security systems. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, key duplication, and addressing client inquiries and requests. This role requires strong technical and organizational skills to ensure timely and high-quality service. Qualifications Technical skills in working with locks, keys, and basic security system components Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills Strong organizational abilities, inventory management, and time management skills Effective communication and customer service skills Basic understanding of safety protocols and workplace standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience in locksmithing or a related field is beneficial but not required High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in locksmithing is a plus Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as needed
