Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist | Anesthesiology - General/Other Location: Chapel Hill, NC Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Chapel Hill, NC Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: 5 days per week Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Flexible scheduling required for any day of the week PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: All ages Case Mix: GI, Cardiac, Radiology Oncology, MRI, Burns, Neuro, and Level I Trauma cases Procedures Required: Facility performs a wide range of anesthesia procedures based on provider skill set FACILITY INFORMATION Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital No. of Beds in Department: 989 beds Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia equipment Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesiologists and CRNA team support Support Staff Available: Anesthesiologists and additional CRNAs Department Description: High acuity Level I Trauma facility Includes Adult, Burn, Neuro, GI, Cardiac, MRI, and Radiology Oncology coverage No OB or Pediatrics coverage Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 45–60 days COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Included JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active NC license preferred Board: NBCRNA certification required Willing to License: Yes (IMLC only) Certifications Preferred: AANA certified Experience: Level I Trauma experience required Other Qualifications: Must be flexible and able to work any day of the week as needed Cannot require RTO during June or July Cannot require more than 1 Friday off per month Minimum of 2 references required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide anesthesia services in a Level I Trauma facility Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and CRNA team Provide coverage for high acuity patient populations Maintain accurate clinical documentation Adapt to varying case types and department needs throughout the facility
