Job Description
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist | Anesthesiology - General/Other Location: Douglas, WY Employer: AAS Locum Tenens Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide coverage in a Level III Trauma hospital in Douglas, WY. This role includes a mix of inpatient, outpatient surgery, and L&D cases, with a manageable daily volume and flexible monthly scheduling. Schedule Coverage: 2 weeks per month Shift: Monday–Friday Hours: Typically 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (dependent on case volume) No additional call requirements specified Practice Setting Hospital-based setting Inpatient, Outpatient Surgery, and Labor & Delivery Trauma Level III Patient Volume: 7–10 cases per day Patient population: Mostly adult, light pediatrics No surgical patients under age 3 (except L&D/neonatal cases) Clinical Responsibilities Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures Provide general and local anesthesia Perform regional blocks and epidurals (required) Manage anesthesia care for L&D, including neonatal support as needed Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures Collaborate with surgeons and clinical staff to ensure safe patient care Requirements Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Active Wyoming license or IMLC eligibility ACLS certification (required for conscious sedation privileges) PALS (AHA) required Experience with epidurals, regional blocks, and general anesthesia Comfortable with light pediatric and neonatal (L&D) cases Douglas offers a quiet, small-town atmosphere with beautiful Wyoming landscapes and outdoor recreation.
